to ensure that employees have greater control over their daily tasks, the
ability to provide policy input, and effective ways to make important
decisions.

ReplyDeleteIn fact, research has shown that organizations that embrace employee empowerment experience increased productivity, improved employee satisfaction, and a reduction in employee turnover (Nembhard & Edmondson, 2006). In your point of view, what are some potential challenges or drawbacks to implementing employee empowerment in the workplace, and how can organizations overcome them?
Empowerment is a powerful motivator and promoter of job satisfaction, but without accountability it can be destructive. If employee empowerment is not tightly linked to employee accountability, we can set ourselves up for failure and costly mistakes. Therefore, by delegating tasks and projects to employees, we can essentially empower them to take responsibility for their own tasks.
